Rooftop Tent - Maggiolina Extreme

The Maggiolina™ Extreme and Forest are specialty tents with similar features to the small Airland but with a reinforced aerodynamic roof, integrated roof rack and reinforced lift mechanism. These tents were designed for the outdoor professional in mind. The new variant of the Extreme called the "Forest" has a non-glare forest green shell and dralon fabric and is very stealthy for outdoor photographers, field biologists or anyone else that needs to draw minimal attention.

This Maggiolina™ is designed for the serious off-road enthusiast or outdoor professional. It combines the best features along with an integral roof rack capable of carrying 20 Kg (45 Lbs) of extra equipment.

The Extreme and Forest are designed for the outdoor professional. Yakima and Thule bars are only designed to carry 165 pounds maximum. An engineered rack system is needed if your are carrying over 30 pounds on the Extreme's rack.

Opens in less than a minute

By means of a simple handle it opens effortlessly in under a minute!
Requiring little effort or exertion, Maggiolinas™ can be opened in seconds, giving you a comfortable, snug bed. With the same ease, it closes ready for you to start off a new journey. The removable crank acts like a "key" and will keep your equipment inside secure

Integral roof rack
The Extreme and Forest have two "C" channels molded into the roof. They have with two small crossbars but you can add Thule Tracker II or Yakima Control Towers and bars to customize the roof to suit your needs. This allows you to add light bars, accessories or even an expedition basket in emergencies or for search and rescue work.

Comfort and functionality
The material used in all Maggiolinas™ is Dralon. We considered other materials on the market like cotton, acrylic, wax, resin or plastic that are less expensive, only Dralon has the right characteristics necessary for our product. In brief there are six advantages of using Dralon:
• Allows greater transpiration and does not keep the heat
• Color and durability, each individual thread is dyed
• Tear and mold resistant
• Resistant to unfavorable weather and sudden temperature changes
• It is highly water resistant and doesn’t lose its shape, doesn’t shrink or stretch and maintenance is easy
• It can be folded even when wet and doesn’t absorb or retain water.
The high technology yarn used for stitching has been thoroughly tested and compatible.

SMALL		FEATURES AND STANDARD EQUIPMENT

With the special “C” shaped guides built into the top, you can fit roof racks to hold items such as canoes or surfboards without any additional attachments.

Caution:
1. Every Zifer® cartop tent must be used with a car rack system designed to carry the weight of the tent. Consult car and rack manufacturers for the weight limitations of their systems.
2. Cartop tents must not be open or occupied while the vehicle is in motion.
3. Products are warrantied for manufacturer's defects only. Use in any manner other than as described will void this warranty.
4. The Extreme and Extreme Forest are designed for outdoor professionals who need added capabilities. Loads over 30 pounds on the Extreme's rack can overload Thule or Yakima bars. Loads greater than 30 pounds require a rack and vehicle engineered for greater weights.
