Expedition Rooftent - Maggiolina Airland

The Maggiolina™ AirLand is one of our newest models, a little less weight, with an aerodynamic roofline and premium features like gray Drylon fabric, daylight screens and other thoughtful features. It is an excellent choice for applications where the tent stays on the vehicle full time. SUVs and expedition trucks have become faster and more aerodynamic, this tent is designed for them.

The small. Maggiolina™ AirLand is a little longer than the other small Maggiolina™ tents. It is good for those 6 foot 6 inches or shorter. The small tents are a little smaller than a full sized double bed and takes fitted full sized sheets. The medium takes fitted queen and the large uses fitted king sheets.

Comfort and functionality
The material used in all Maggiolinas™ is Dralon. We considered other materials on the market like cotton, acrylic, wax, resin or plastic that are less expensive, only Dralon has the right characteristics necessary for these tents. In brief, there are six advantages of using Draylon:
• Breathes very well and does not retain heat
• Color and durability, each individual thread is dyed
• Tear and mold resistant
• Resistant to unfavorable weather and sudden temperature changes.
• It is highly water resistant and doesn’t lose its shape, doesn’t shrink or stretch and maintenance is easy
• It can be folded even when wet and doesn’t absorb or retain water.
The high technology yarn used for stitching has been thoroughly tested and is compatible with this fabric.

Opens in less than a minute

By means of a simple handle it opens effortlessly in under a minute!
Requiring no effort or exertion, Maggiolina can be opened in seconds, giving you a comfortable, snug bed. With the same ease, it closes ready for you to start off a new journey. The removable handle acts like a "key" when the tent is closed.

Composite Construction
The the fiberglass tents have mounting tracks are molded into the base along with insulation. This creates a rigid platform and an insulated base. This minimizes heat loss through the floor and reduces the possibility of condensation in cold conditions. Because the mattress does not have to insulate, we can use a mattress grade foam for added comfort. All Maggiolina™ tents have mattresses 8 cm (over 3 inches) thick for maximum comfort, especially in cold conditions.

1. Every Zifer® cartop tent must be used with a car rack system designed to carry the weight of the tent. Consult car and rack manufacturers for the weight limitations of their systems.
