We have been putting a lot of very light tents (small Columbus) on the Outback because of the 110 pound weight rating on the factory rack. Turns out you can order a special set of crossbars made for Subaru by Yakima that have a 150 pound rating, talk to your Subaru dealer. This gives you a broad choice of tents. We still like the small tents for the Outback. The Forester is a little bigger so a medium tent fits well too. |
