These tents make a nice addition for exploring or just camping with your Land Rover, after all, isn't that why you bought a Land Rover?  There are many ways to mount these tent to Land Rovers.  Many folks go to the effort of building custom racks but the Thule "Superhigh Foot" raingutter towers work well on the Series and Discovery.
If you are lucky enough to have a Defender with a full cage, I'm told you can use the new Yakima "X" towers to mount your crossbars.
Even though the racks are rated to 165 pounds, Land Rover here recommends 145 pounds above the roof, no problem.
